Kendra Burton Joins Consilium Consulting as Senior Director

[Phoenix, AZ] – Consilium Consulting announced today that public policy expert Kendra Burton has joined the firm as Senior Director, bringing nearly two decades of state and federal government relations experience.

Most recently, Burton served as Executive Director of State Relations at Arizona State University. During her tenure, she spearheaded the university's legislative strategy and helped secure a $123.5 million state investment for the new John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering. She also championed multi-year funding to expand ASU’s engineering school and successfully navigated complex Name, Image, and Likeness (N4IL) legislation.

Before ASU, Burton was Director of Outreach and Senior District Adviser for U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema. In these roles, she built strong coalitions across Arizona's business, healthcare, and higher education sectors. Her early roots in campaign operations and grassroots advocacy have shaped her pragmatic, results-driven approach to moving policy forward.
